8 Months

Kendall turned 8 months on the first and I have just been too busy to get around to posting. All of the 8 month pictures are taken with her little comb. She wouldn't let us take it away from her.

8 months of age has brought so many changes at one time.

Kendall is scooting all around on her bottom, rolling all over the room and getting herself stuck in odd places.





She has even started saying words. She loves to say "Hi Dada" and "Hi Nana" in the softest little voice. At first we weren't sure if we were hearing things correctly, but sure enough.. that's what she's saying. Mike says it just melts his heart when she does it. Our other girls were very early talkers and I guess she is going to follow in their footsteps of being a little chatter box.

Kendall is clapping (which she learned on Jacob's b-day) and does the cutest little wave hi. Her first two bottom teeth came in a few weeks ago. She thinks it's quite fun to pinch people and it's actually rather painful.

She is a good little mimicker and loves to say achoo and sing ahhh when people ask her to. Kendall can pull to a stand when holding someones hands and stand against something when she has something to hold on to.

We think she is weighing in around 25 and 1/2 pounds. She gets mauled by people when we go to the grocery store. I find it rather strange that so many strangers come up to her and touch her... so out come my cleaning wipes when the people are out of sight!

I know that I say it every month, but my baby is just growing up too fast. She's going to be running around before we know it.
