My sweet little girl is growing as fast as a weed.
Just look at the comparisons between her one month photo and now!
Kendall's six month stats:
At birth: 7.9 pounds
19 1/2 inches
and now...
23.13 pounds (99.99%)
26.5 inches (75%)
Thankfully Kendall had only gained 1 1/2 pounds since her last doctor's appointment two months ago. She'd been averaging about three pounds a month since birth, so I was so happy her weight gain is slowing down. (I have been avoiding putting her on our scale at home in fear of what it might say!) Kendall's now sleeping in her own room and is sleeping around 10-11 hours straight through the night.
She is working on things like sitting up,
but still needs some assistance.
She dislikes tummy time, but I think she looks cute practicing her baby push ups.
Kendall moved on up this week to a big girl car seat.
We didn't have enough bedrooms in our house for all the kids, so we had to remodel part of our house to give Kelsey her own room. We finally just finished her room after months of work, so Kendall took Kelsey's old room. I made the bird mobile and painted the tree limbs on the wall. I ordered little crocheted flowers and leaves off of Etsy that I pinned to the wall. I still have to add Kendall's name in vinyl to the wall that my friend Allison gave to me as a gift. (I have to wait for the paint to cure.)
This crib is old, the one we purchased for Emily. We still had it in the garage. (My brother claims I am a little bit of a hoarder. I disagree, I just have a hard time parting with my baby things!)
