A First Birthday

As I sit down to write this tonight, I'm counting down to the minute this little cutie came into our lives. Just a few minutes more until you graced us with your sweet presence.

While I'm excited to see you grow and do new things, it has all happened just a little too fast for your mom. Your oldest sister was just in your place not long ago and this mom's heart knows all too well how fast how your childhood is going to go.









Happy Birthday to my beautiful little girl. You have brought so much joy into our lives, in a time that you were truly needed.

Sweet Sixteen

Kelsey turned 16 on the 2nd of November. Time sure does fly. I think my baby should maybe be turning about 12. I wanted to do something special for her, so we planned a surprise party for her. Thankfully her friends were able to keep the secret and no one spilled the beans.

Eleven Months

First Halloween

10 Months

Kendall turned 10 months old the 1st of October. This little girl is growing up so fast. The last month has brought about so many changes to what Kendall is able to do.

Kendall can say quite a few words. Mama, Dad, Nana, ball, dog, hi, woof and no. She is just crazy about the dogs and loves to sniff and pant like a dog. When she sees other animals she makes dog noises at them. She waves hi and goodbye and claps her hands if you ask her if she's happy.






In the last week Kendall has learned to crawl, pull up alone on to the furniture and take a few steps while she is hanging on. She also has learned how to get into a sitting position from laying down.

Kendall had a little crash in the bath tub a few days ago and hit her head on the drain plug that has a knob on it. She had the biggest goose egg right above her eyes for a few hours. Thankfully, all that remains is a bruise.

Her top teeth have been coming in the last week, which now makes 4 teeth altogether. Kendall's hair is really starting to fill in and she wears a bow most days to try to keep it a little less messy. We think she weighs around 26 pounds. She is a lot of fun entertainment for the whole family and we are excited to watch her grow.
